“NATIONAL SURVEYOR’S WEEK RESOLUTION VICTORY!

 

We were able to get the required 50 co-sponsors to House Resolution H. Con. Res. 223, the National Surveyor’s Week Resolution. The Resolution is expected to easily pass the Oversight Committee and the full House of Representatives by the end of the month.

National Surveyor’s Week Resolution Victory!

I received an email from the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM), of which I am a member, with the above noted (great) news.

The only thing I would like to add is a thank you to ACSM for all of it’s hard work in promoting the land surveying profession. Do not, however, stop your involvement in getting this resolution approved – Contact your legislators’ and let them know how important this issue is to you.  I can’t see how it gets any better for the land surveying profession than being honored by the Congress in this manner.
