Paul Harvey – 1918 – 2009 RIP
March 3, 2009 in Associate Membership, General, Land Surveying
Paul Harvey – 1918 – 2009, a broadcasting pioneer known for his staccato delivery died Saturday in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 90.
I can’t tell you how many times we would listen to Paul Harvey while having lunch, on coffee breaks, rain delays, or travelling between surveys. Most of the field crews I worked on listened to him religiously.
I’ll miss the “Bumper Snickers” and “The Rest of the Story” the most, I think.
Thanks, Paul, you’re an original and will be missed.
