Professional Land Surveyor Vlog discusses the proposed merger of the American Congress on Surveying and Mapping (ACSM) with the National Society of Professional Land Surveyors.

There’s a dearth of information on exactly why ACSM is now in the place it is in. And, in reading ACSM’s proposed Agreement and Plan of Merger, I’m concerned that ACSM’s supposed “plan” just shifts their financial difficulties to NSPS.

So I’m asking, ACSM and NSPS, What Is Going On?

2010 National Society of Professional Land Surveyors (NSPS) Surveying Student Team Competition

The National Society of Professional Land Surveyors (NSPS) has published a pre-notification for the 2010 National Society of Professional Land Surveyors (NSPS) Surveying Student Team Competition.

“PRE-NOTIFICATION — To facilitate communications, all teams planning to participate in the 2010 NSPS Student Competition should advise Competition Coordinator David Lee Ingram of their intentions to participate and should designate their contact person and email address no later than January 15, 2010. Please direct questions concerning the Competition to Mr. Ingram”

The subject of the 2010 National Society of Professional Land Surveyors (NSPS) Surveying Student Team Competition will be Forensic Surveying related to Accident Scenes. The deadline for all teams planning to participate in the 2010 National Society of Professional Land Surveyors (NSPS) Surveying Student Team Competition to notify Competition Coordinator David Lee Ingram is no later than January 15, 2010.
