Rate AutoCAD Civil 3D For Downloading Survey Information
I’ve recently had several discussions with both land surveyors and engineers questioning how best to integrate (and what software to do so) land surveying data with AutoCAD Civil 3D?
I’m seeing that with AutoCAD Land Desktop retired, there is a stronger push to get to full AutoCAD Civil 3D implementation within many organizations. And, where the engineering side of these firms are embracing AutoCAD Civil 3D, they are having difficulties integrating the land surveying side of their companies into their AutoCAD Civil 3D workflows.
Much of this land surveying integration “problem” appears to center around the facts that their land surveyors use many software solutions and complain about the “difficulties” and “learning curve” with using AutoCAD Civil 3D for working with survey information – specifically, downloading and uploading survey data.
How do you rate AutoCAD Civil 3D for downloading survey information (leave a comment, too)?
