Professional Land Surveyor News: Autodesk Developer Network Partners Support AutoCAD 2011

Last week Autodesk announced immediate support for AutoCAD 2011 software by several leading Autodesk Developer Network (ADN) members.  Partner companies, using ADN support, can provide the full benefits of AutoCAD 2011 to their customers.

A world leader in 2D and 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, Autodesk’s AutoCAD technology should provide significant increases in:

• Productivity.
• New tools for conceptual design.
• Point cloud support.

Hundreds of compatible add-on Applications, and more to come!

Autodesk says that there are today, more than 200 AutoCAD 2011 available add-on applications. Within the next few months they also say there will be more to come. I will look into how many of these add-on applications there are now, or will be in the future, that are useful and beneficial to professional land surveyors.
