Critigen will serve as system integrator and provide data management and visual business intelligence solutions to support Trimble’s technology and products in the utilities, state and local government, and environmental management markets. Professional Land Surveyor News Trimble Introduces New Desktop and GPS Handheld Solution for Utility and  Smart Grid Asset Maintenance and Inspection

SAN DIEGO, July 12, 2010 — Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) introduced today a new version of its Trimble® Field Inspector solution for utility infrastructure and smart grid asset maintenance and inspection. The solution is comprised of the Trimble Field Inspector software for handheld computers and Trimble Field Inspector Desktop software. Scalable and easy to deploy, the solution leverages Trimble Global Positioning System (GPS) and handheld computing technology to automate a wide variety of field applications for electric, gas, water, and wastewater utilities—from smart meter deployments to routine asset maintenance inspections.

Professional Land Surveyor News: Trimble Posts $319.0 Million In First Quarter Revenue

On April 29th, Trimble (Nasdaq: TRMB) announced that for the first quarter, which ended on April 2, 2010, its revenue increased approximately 10% when compared to the first quarter of 2009. The total revenue reported by Trimble for the first quarter of 2010 is $319.0 million. The first quarter revenue for the first quarter of 2009 was $289.0 million.

  • Trimble First Quarter 2010 Revenue of $319.0 Million Up 10 Percent.
  • Non-GAAP EPS of $0.34 Up 21 Percent As Compared to the First Quarter of 2009.
  • Non-GAAP Operating Margin of 17.9 Percent.
  • Operating income for the first quarter of 2010 was $36.1 million, up approximately 49 percent as compared to the first quarter of 2009. Operating margin in the first quarter of 2010 was 11.3 percent, as compared to an operating margin of 8.4 percent in the first quarter of 2009.

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 26, 2010 — Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB) today announced remote data transfer capabilities for its family of Trimble Digital Pen Solutions. Designed specifically for the construction contractor, the Trimble portfolio of Digital Pen Solutions and supporting software capabilities provide the simplicity of working with pen and paper with easy conversion to digital data by using a digital pen. Using Trimble DPS Mobile software, contractors can streamline the transfer of field data captured with the Trimble Digital Pen Solutions to the office for faster, more accurate data transfer and communications.

The announcement was made today at the AHR Expo 2010, the world’s largest show targeting air conditioning, heating and refrigeration contractors.

Designed for use with the BlackBerry smartphone, Trimble’s new DPS Mobile data transfer application enables workers to easily transfer data from the Trimble Digital Pen to the office. Mobile workers can use Trimble DP20 digital pens to write on printed Microsoft Excel forms and PDF files. The written information can then be transferred to a BlackBerry smartphone via a Bluetooth connection and emailed to the office for integration into the original Excel and PDF files using Trimble DPS software.

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 26, 2010 — Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) introduced today a new version of its Trimble® 4D Control software, the core of Trimble monitoring solutions, that combines Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and optical technologies for real-time deformation monitoring applications. The software is ideal for monitoring dams, bridges, buildings, pipeline support piers, large-scale construction and excavation sites, underground and open pit mines, landslides, tunnels, and other structures.
