Carlson Software Survey/Civil/Mining Training in Colorado, Dec. 16-19, 2013

All new and/or basic CAD users are invited to attend any or all of these four full days of training in Carlson Survey (day 1), Carlson Civil (day 2) and Carlson Mining (days 3 & 4) in Denver, Colo., Dec. 16 through 19. 

MAYSVILLE, Ky. (November 13, 2013) – Carlson Software is offering four days of classes designed for those just starting out with Carlson Mining with Carlson Survey and Civil for CAD design. They will be held at the Embassy Suites Downtown Convention Center in Denver, Colo., from Monday, Dec. 16, through Thursday, Dec. 19.

Attendees may sign up for all four days of training or just pick the days that work best for them. The first two days will be dedicated to general CAD/civil engineering training and are open to all interested in intro classes in Carlson Civil and Survey, not just those in the mining field.  The second two days of training will be mining-specific.

The schedule is as follows:

Intro to Civil Module—3D Data, Surfaces, Centerlines, Ramps, Profiles, Ponds, Area & Layouts, Annotation

Day 3: Wednesday, Dec. 18

Intro to Geology—Drillholes, Strata Calculations, Grids

Day 4: Thursday, Dec. 19

Intro to Underground and Surface Mining Modules—Notes, Workings, Property, Boundaries, Reserves & Timing, Surface Mining Features

The cost for each full day of training is $500. Breakfasts and lunches will be provided. Attendees are advised to bring their own computers as the supply of laptops to borrow is limited. In addition, a limited amount of lodging at the host hotel is available at a discounted rate on a first-come, first-served basis.
