For the first time since the 2005 disaster the government has been held liable for the 2005 disaster by a lower court judge, who has ruled that the Army Corps of Engineers failed in preparation for Hurricane Katrina.

One wonders if the Corp will file a counter suit against people living 6′ below sea level to compensate for their financial losses or will I be helping cover that bill as well? Thanks for the post Eric!
