A good day surveying in a swamp. At least I had some good help and company. My son was in awe of this area and we walked through acres of wildflowers shoulder high, buzzing with thousands of bees, wasps and hornets, not getting stung once. We were busy doing our work and they were busy doing their work.

He’s the good looking guy holding the Trimble 4800 RTK GPS Rover. The last picture is of a more forested portion of this swamp/river complex being surveyed with a Leica 1200 Robotic Total Station.

    1. I live in San Diego where I had been land surveying for a private firm
until being downsized. I was not able to learn rtk gps before being laid off and would like to know where I can get this education without taking years to get an AA degree.
