Please keep vigilant in avoiding Deer Ticks and Lyme Disease. I know that it is getting colder, and the ticks less problematic than the months of June, July and August, but I’ve found them year round. Even in the dead of winter, all it takes is a little warm-up and they appear. Familiarize yourself with these ticks, the symptoms of Lyme Disease and preventative measures. [In most literature about Lyme Disease, particularly that which is published by the Government, it is usually recommended to avoid areas prone to ticks - This is not an option for Land Surveyors, or others who work in or enjoy the outdoors, so keep informed and protect yourself].
